The welcome line we could read
On 16 October 2026 the Gbets promotions page carried a tile titled “Welcome Offer!” with the line “Get 50 Free Spins and a R50 Free Bet!” The site footer also links to terms for a R50 free bet and for welcome-journey bonus funds. We did not open a separate terms document for that tile.
See the operator’s site for current terms before you treat the headline as the whole offer. Check the stake size of the spins, which games they attach to, whether the free-bet stake is returned, and any odds floor.
The same homepage navigation includes sports, live sport, lucky numbers, a slots hub and live games. This note does not count those lobbies.
The footer
The footer says no person under 18 may bet, points readers to the National Responsible Gambling Programme on 0800 006 008, and prints the Western Cape licence line quoted on this page.
Public pages read on 16 October 2026. Operators can change an offer without notice.
Licence line from the footer
The Gbets footer states: “Gbets is licensed by the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board.” It also prints “Western Cape – License Number: 10179096-014” and says Gbets is operated by Dymanex (PTY) Ltd.

Is the R50 free bet returned with the winnings?
The tile we read did not say. See operator terms before you opt in.
